Purpose and Joy Embroidered Organic Cotton Sweatshirt

$125.00
As I let my inner child take the helm I am continually reminded of the joy embedded in chasing my childhood curiosities. When I was in middle school I was obsessed with graffiti. By the time I got to high school the documentary "Style Wars" was one of my favorite films. Every night I scoured artcrimes.com overawed by these paintings and where the artists painted them. How were they getting onto these buildings, how were they getting these effects with just a spray can. I grew up pretty sheltered i snuck out to paint a couple times, i found a few places that i could paint during the day but maily i drew graffiti style drawings, designs for paintings that i knew i would never actually paint. But the drawing was enough. It's been about 19 years since i did a graffiti style drawing and had soooo much fun with this one. I drew my childhood self as a cartoon after making a big painting. Instead using my old tag names i wrote FOCUS, my new mantra.

This iteration of the sweat-shirt is all embroidered. I love this 6 color expression of the original drawing. the embroidery give the garment volume and texture. Additionally, the depth of color in the embroidery is stronger and will maintain its vibrance much longer than the DTG inks.

The Unisex organic sweatshirt is made of organic and recycled materials, and feels soft and cozy to the touch. It has set-in sleeves, 2×2 rib at collar, and a self-fabric neck tape. Order your next eco-friendly essential and hit the streets in style!
